Aug 10, 2026 - Phoenix Prime updated Bender to mecanum wheels and has begun tuning the design of the robot.
July 4th, 2026 - Phoenix Prime had a chance to show off the starter bot and do some fundraising at Nighthawk Ace Hardware. We were also able to do some preliminary driving testing in the practice field.
July 21st, 2026 - Phoenix Prime team held first CAD mentoring session with ECG Robotics. More updates to the starter robot include new intake and bumper design.
Aug 22, 2026 - Added odometry wheels and new bumpers to Bender. Programmed Bender’s first “autonomous” route.
Sept 18, 2026 - Biobuzz season kickoff and game reveal. The team had a great time learning from veteran team during the workshops. Our kit came this week and is fully assembled and we are working hard on new concepts to tackle the game.
